Clear Screen Review

Editorial policy

Clear Screen Review aims to make screen-related information understandable without repeating sales claims as fact. Our editorial decisions favour precise explanations, fair comparisons and visible limits.

Accuracy and clarity

We check that explanations use terms consistently and distinguish established definitions from interpretation. Where a claim depends on a particular device, format or viewing condition, we make that scope clear rather than presenting it as universal.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for reader value, not to guarantee favourable coverage for a product or partner. A commercial relationship does not buy an editorial conclusion, and comparisons should explain the criteria and trade-offs being discussed.

Corrections

Readers can report an error through the Contact page. Include the relevant article and detail, and, where possible, a reliable basis for the correction. We review substantiated errors and update the wording so the record is clearer.

Partners and illustrations

Paid, supplied or otherwise partner-supported material is clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is relevant, the image is labelled. Illustrations are not evidence for a technical claim.

Our point of view

A screen is a set of choices, not a magic window

We look beyond sales language to explain what a display can do, what it cannot, and which differences viewers are likely to notice.
