Clear Screen Review

Write for us

Clear Screen Review welcomes pitches that help general readers understand screens, image presentation and the choices involved in viewing or selecting a display. We favour a specific question over a broad claim that a technology is best.

What to pitch

Propose an original, focused piece about display concepts, screen formats, viewing conditions, screen history or a consumer choice. Strong pitches name the reader's question, the central explanation or comparison, and why the subject can be covered accurately without unsupported performance claims.

A useful proposal

Keep the pitch concise and identify the intended category, the proposed angle and any sources or materials the piece would rely on. Tell us about relevant interests or experience without implying credentials you do not hold. We do not accept copied work or claims that cannot be supported.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and select the editorial option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please wait for a response before sending a complete manuscript.

Our point of view

A screen is a set of choices, not a magic window

We look beyond sales language to explain what a display can do, what it cannot, and which differences viewers are likely to notice.
